Quarterdeck Employee Relief Fund

Hi, my name is Courtney and I am hoping to raise money for the employees of the Quarterdeck Restaurant.  

I am one of many people who think of the Quarterdeck as a second home. For years I worked there full-time as both a server and bartender, and now I’m able to “moonlight” there periodically to help make ends meet. Not only do I consider the staff my friends, I'm proud to call them my family.  

It’s been said many times before, but what we are all experiencing is a once in a lifetime event. So many people find themselves unemployed and not knowing how they will pay their bills or feed their families.  On top of this, we have two Quarterdeck employees who are expecting additions to their families in May. It is unlikely any of them will see a stimulus payment or unemployment check for many weeks.  

This is why I am hoping those of you who have come to know and love the "Deck" and our quirky little family can come to the staff's aid and help them get through this difficult time.  All contributions will go directly to both front of the house and back of the house staff.  I know each and every one of them are champing at the bit to once again open their doors and serve all of you the BEST DANG CRABS IN THE DC METRO AREA!!!! Fingers crossed they will get the opportunity to do so.
