Queanbeyan Masjid Construction - Final Phase

- Construction of the masjid is at its last stage. We were planning to open the Masjid for Traweeh and regular Salahs during this Ramadan (Ramadan 2025), but due to some minor finishing works it is delayed for opening after Eid Inshaa'ALLAH. We urgently require funds of 112,000 to open the masjid immediately after Eid. We hope we will get this amount through pledges made during the last fund-raising event. If you made a pledge, this is right time to pay off your pledge. Pl help us to achieve this aim and donate generously. History:
The city of Queanbeyan is just 15 kms to the east of Canberra - Capital of Australia. During the last decade, Muslim population of Queanbeyan increased significantly. The city desperately needs a mosque to cater the spiritual and religious needs of its Muslim families. The mosque will not only serve as a beacon of light for the future generations of Muslims and non-Muslims seeking knowledge about Islam, but will also provide a platform/a community hub to bringing together Muslim families from different backgrounds.
The mosque is being built on a land of about 1,500 sq. meters, the street address is 185 - Gilmore Road Queanbeyan, NSW. The Mosque will hold all the facilities to accommodate for men and women, including the car park at the basement.
The project was started in 2013, the purchase of land and development approval was obtained in 2016. The construction of mosque started in the Summer of 2018.
So far, about 95% of the work has been completed. We require $164,000 funds to open the masjid for regulat salahs and Islamic activities.
