Queen Sheba Fire Recovery Fund
Donation protected
QUEEN SHEBA RESTAURANT is a community institution that has GIVEN BACK its heart and soul to the people of Sacramento for decades. This includes food donations to the homeless, supporting critical human rights causes and opening its doors for struggling artists and community events at no charge. It is unimaginable that someone would commit the cruel act of setting this beloved place on fire.
The fire at Queen Sheba started around 4:30 AM the morning of June 24th but was quickly contained by firefighters. Structural damage was minimal and mostly restricted to the exterior of the building. This local favorite restaurant, owned by Zion Taddese, plans to re-open soon but when one of us is hurting we are all hurting. Not only do they have to rebuild but staff wages and revenue will be lost due to the fire. Zion/Queen Sheba supports Sacramento, so please show your support and solidarity by making a donation to help Queen Sheba rise above the ashes.
