For the fifth consecutive year Queen's College of Guyana Alumni Association (NY) is hosting a student conference that will benefit 120 students from seven high schools in Georgetown, Guyana. On November 1st, 2019 presenters from diverse backgrounds will conduct engaging workshops with a focus on leadership enhancement, social and emotional development, and personal/professional enrichment.
In order to continue bringing these enrichment opportunities to students, we need your financial support!
The 2019 Queen's College Student Conference needs include but are not limited to:
>Lunch for 120 students and other participants
>Conference materials and presentation equipment
>Stationary
>Giveaways for students (branded bags, flash drives, t-shirts, and other items)
Thank you for your generosity! It makes all the difference!
*100% of the funds collected are applied to student conference needs. Any funds received that exceed our conference costs will be assigned to the restricted QCAANY Youth Development Fund. This fund is used to support the annual Queen’s College Summer Math Institute, the Queen’s College Student Conference, and any other student-driven need that may arise in a given year, that the QCAANY body decides to support.
