Queer POC eviction, stolen car, & bouncing back

I am an underemployed trans latine who just got evicted & my car stolen. I'm asking for help for myself, my spouse, and my 2 cats.

Story:

Early February, in the middle of my job search, my spouse and I were given a 60 days eviction notice from our landlord. Last week, as we started making a financial plan, our car got stolen in Los Angeles. Our car was later found abandoned on the freeway, stripped for parts, and unusable.

We are now less than a month out from our move-in date and we are in a dire situation. The rent at our new place is double the rent we've been paying the last 6 years. In addition, finding a job in Southern California without a car is near impossible since remote work has vanished at this point. We're asking for help to pay for a reliable used car, for moving expenses, and to just get us to next month's rent.

Update 3/20/23:

So it turns out our rent is $100 dollars more than we thought it was gonna be. So our rent is now more than double what we were paying. In addition, the landlord was being wishy washy about what we needed to put down and has now added that we need to give 2 months rent starting the 1st. If I had known this information, I would've probably put this Gofundme slightly higher. I won't change it in hopes my situation changes soon so we'll see!

We managed to take out a loan and secure a car over the weekend. So at least we can get around now! Originally the fund was going to go mostly to the car, but with the rent increase, we are going to be using the funds to supplement our rent until I find a better source of income. Once I'm more stable, the remainder of the money (if there is any) will go directly into the car payment.
