Queer Running Club Community Fundraiser

We are a collective of queer and trans runners, meeting in Hackney Downs every Tuesday night at 7pm to run together. We have been fundraising via the sales of our club T-shirts to raise money for gender affirming surgeries for our trans family.

We firmly believe no one should have to pay for their own surgery and are running several races to raise funds for these important life changing surgeries.

Collectively we are raising money by running half marathons. First up is the Berlin half marathon and then Hackney half marathon.

Some of our runners have never raced a half marathon before and some are marathon veterans. No matter which, the distance is a challenge that takes dedication and training, it’s been a tough winter bbz and all the training in the rain makes is worth while knowing we are supporting trans angels on their journeys.
