Dear friends and family,

Today we come to you with our hearts in our hands, in a time of deep need. Our dear mom, Norella Concha de Castro, "Mamá Nury," who has always been a source of love, strength, and care for all of us, is facing a tough battle for her health, and we now need your help to give her the opportunity to receive the medical attention she deserves.

Diagnosed with a chronic liver disease, her liver has been severely affected, causing her abdomen to fill with fluid, resulting in painful swelling and limiting her mobility. Despite having received multiple treatments and hospitalizations, her condition continues to worsen. This has required constant punctures to drain the accumulated fluid and reduce the high doses of diuretics that, unfortunately, are also affecting her kidneys.

After much suffering and searching for a solution, we were referred to a specialist in liver health who has given us a ray of hope: a surgery that could stop the accumulation of fluid and significantly improve her quality of life. However, the costs of this intervention are beyond our means, as our family has exhausted all its resources on these treatments and medications.

"Mamá Nury" has been a pillar of love in our lives and in the lives of many children and young people in the community who have been impacted by her generosity and dedication as a teacher. Now, in her time of need, she is the one who needs our support. We know that together we can make a significant difference in her life and in our family's life, giving her the opportunity to live without pain and with dignity.

Any contribution, big or small, will be an immense blessing and will help us cover the costs of her treatment and surgery. Beyond financial support, we sincerely appreciate your prayers, positive energy, and any help you can offer by sharing this message with others.

Queridos amigos y familiares,

Hoy nos acercamos a ustedes con el corazón en la mano, en un momento de profunda necesidad. Nuestra querida mamá, Norella Concha de Castro "Mamá Nury" que siempre ha sido una fuente de amor, fortaleza y cuidados para todos nosotros, enfrenta una dura batalla por su salud, y ahora necesitamos de su ayuda para darle la oportunidad de recibir la atención médica que merece.

Diagnosticada con una enfermedad de origen hepático crónico, su hígado se ha visto severamente afectado, causando que su abdomen se llene de líquido, produciéndole una dolorosa hinchazón y limitando su movilidad. A pesar de haber recibido múltiples tratamientos y hospitalizaciones, su condición continúa agravándose. Esto ha requerido constantes punciones para drenar el líquido acumulado y disminuir la alta dosis de diuréticos que, lamentablemente, también están afectando sus riñones.

Después de mucho sufrimiento y de buscar una solución, fuimos referidos a un especialista en salud hepática que nos ha dado una luz de esperanza: una operación que podrá detener la acumulación de líquido y mejorar significativamente su calidad de vida. Sin embargo, los costos de esta intervención están más allá de nuestras posibilidades, ya que nuestra familia ha agotado todos sus recursos en dichos tratamientos y medicamentos.

"Mama Nury" ha sido un pilar de amor en nuestras vidas y en la de muchos niños y jóvenes de la comunidad quienes han sido impactados por su generosidad y dedicacion indicional como maestra. Ahora, en su momento de necesidad, es ella quien necesita de nuestro apoyo. Sabemos que, unidos, podemos hacer una gran diferencia en su vida y en la de nuestra familia y brindarle la oportunidad de vivir sin dolor y con dignidad.

Cualquier contribución, grande o pequeña, será una bendición inmensa y nos ayudará a cubrir los costos de su tratamiento y operación.
