Querol Family Burial

Rommel Querol was 58 years old when he passed on August 29th, 2020. He was a father, grandpa, husband, son, uncle, mentor. He had many health complications leading up to his death, in fact, one of them  (Atrial Fibrillation) was the reason he went into the hospital for a procedure to help guide his health back on the right track. Before undergoing a heart procedure, with minimal sedation, Rommel stopped breathing, there was no oxygen flow to his heart and brain. This caused anoxic brain injury which landed him in the hospital for the next 24 days. His progress was sporadic and unpredictable over the last few weeks. Within the last four days of his time, he unexpectedly caught a respiratory infection (Acute On Chronic Respiratory Failure with Hypoxia and Hypercapnia) which would only be fixed with many more painful procedures. The Querol family were then left with no choice but to put their loved one on Comfort Care and let him pass peacefully as opposed to putting his body through more trauma.

Before his last hospitalization, Mel had hopes of going back to work again by getting a truck driver's license. He mentioned this would make it easier to visit his daughter in college. Mel enjoyed taking trips to the beach, spending time with his daughter and friends, watching movies/shows, taking care of animals, and eating food. Anyone who knew him can attest to his kind heart, intellect, and passion. During his life time he worked as an environmental chemist, aircraft mechanic, and supervisor at various oil companies. He worked for companies such as Rolls Royce, Shell, and Sears Logistics.

Rommel did not have life insurance so this makes paying for his funeral expenses very difficult for the families. The mortuary wants more than half of our goal upfront on the day of the burial.  Anything helps and a share goes a long way.  It would be much appreciated. The service/burial will be held on the 12th of September. Please help the Querol family bury their loved one respectfully and gracefully, anything helps. We have so much gratitude for your support, contributions, and care. Your kindness and hard work does not go unnoticed.

UPDATE: The service was successful and lovely thanks to your help. However, there are still several expenses that arent yet paid off such as the gravesite and headstone. If possible, keep sharing! With eternal gratefulness, the Querol family thanks you.
