Ayúdame a competir por México en Turquía

Hola me llamo Hadi Sebastián, tengo 13 años, estudio 2o de Secundaria y quiero representar a mi país en las finales mundiales de STEAM VANDA Science y de Pensamiento Computacional Dr CT en Estambul Turquía en Diciembre 2024

En Diciembre de 2023 representé a México en la final mundial de Pensamiento Computacional (Dr CT) en STEAM Ahead Bali 2023 en Indonesia y obtuve 2 Medallas de Plata.

Este año estoy clasificado para las Finales Mundiales de Matemáticas SIMOC (Singapore International Math Olympiad Challenge) a realizarse en Singapur en Julio de este año gracias a que obtuve la Medalla de Bronce en SASMO (Singapore And Asian Schools Math Olympiad) competencia a la que desafortunadamente por cuestiones económicas no pude asistir ya que tuvimos muy poco tiempo para reunir los recursos y mis papás acaban de hacer el gasto de cubrir el viaje a Indonesia.

También estoy clasificado a las finales mundiales de Pensamiento Computacional al haber obtenido Medalla de Plata en la clasificatoria mundial Dr CT (Design Thinking with Robotics and Computational Thinking)

Y a la final mundial de STEAM VANDA Science Global Finals por haber obtenido Medalla de Bronce en la clasificatoria mundial VANDA National Junior Science Olympiad

Ambas finales mundiales a realizarse dentro de STEAM Ahead Estambul 2024 en Turquía en Diciembre de este año.

Es por eso que solicito tu apoyo para reunir los recursos que me permitan solventar el costo de Vuelos, Hospedaje e inscripción a las competencias y así poder participar en STEAM Ahead 2024 Estambúl, Turquía.

Debido a que aún soy menor de edad no puedo hacer un viaje internacional solo y tendré que viajar acompañado por mi hermana Maya (18 años), ella es también una estudiante destacada ganadora de infinidad de competencias de ciencias y torneos de Debate. Es por esto que el costo del viaje se eleva ya que seremos dos pasajeros.

Mi historia.

Desde muy pequeño fui diagnosticado con Altas Capacidades Intelectuales, al ingresar a 1o de primaria hice trámites a CEPAC, la primer escuela pública especializada en Altas Capacidades, después de un largo proceso fuimos seleccionados solo 150 alumnos de 1,500 aspirantes, a partir de ahí he sido muy dedicado con mis estudios obteniendo siempre muy altas calificaciones, adicionalmente siempre he participado en actividades extraescolares muy interesantes, por ejemplo:

Fui invitado por la Universidad de Guadalajara a participar en la Cátedra Universitaria impartida por el Dr. Takaaki Kajita, Premio Nóbel de Física por sus estudios sobre Neutrinos, ahí le presente (sin necesidad de traductor) una maqueta con mi versión del detector de Neutrinos Hiperkamiokande.

Colaboré con la fundación Salvando Latidos A.C. en el desarrollo de una aplicación con fines educativos sobre salud Cardiovascular, y participé con ellos como ponente en la 3er Sesión Científica Estatutaria de la Sociedad Mexicana de Cardiología.

Durante el evento Talent Land, participé en el escenario principal ayudando con algunos experimentos a Javier Santaolalla, físico y divulgador científico que fue parte del equipo que descubrió el Boson de Higs en el Colisionador de Hadrones del CERN.

Recientemente me certifiqué en inglés con Distinción de 5 estrellas

En 2023 representé a mi escuela en la competencia de Robotica, Robomatrix Latinoamérica.

Además de infinidad de olimpiadas de ciencias y matemáticas.

Tu donativo me permitirá participar en una competencia mundial en la que puedo acumular puntos para ingresar a la IJHS (International Junior Honor Society) donde podré acceder a becas y apoyos internacionales, además será un paso que me acercará a mi meta de ingresar al UWC (United World Colleges) movimiento que promueve la educación de calidad en diferentes Escuelas del mundo para estudiantes destacados por medio de apoyos y becas.

Hello, my name is Hadi Sebastián, I am 13 years old, I am studying 2nd year of Secondary School (8th grade) and I want to represent my country in the world finals of STEAM VANDA Science and Computational Thinking Dr CT in Istanbul Turkey in December 2024

In December 2023 I represented Mexico in the world final of Computational Thinking (Dr CT) at STEAM Ahead Bali 2023 in Indonesia and obtained 2 Silver Medals.

This year I am qualified for the SIMOC World Mathematics Finals (Singapore International Math Olympiad Challenge) to be held in Singapore in July of this year thanks to the fact that I obtained the Bronze Medal in SASMO (Singapore And Asian Schools Math Olympiad) a competition to which unfortunately Due to financial reasons, I could not attend since we had very little time to gather the resources and my parents had just incurred the expense of covering the trip to Indonesia.

I am also qualified for the World Finals of Computational Thinking, having obtained a Silver Medal in the Dr CT (Design Thinking with Robotics and Computational Thinking) world qualifier.

And to the STEAM VANDA Science Global Finals for having obtained a Bronze Medal in the VANDA National Junior Science Olympiad world qualifier

Both world finals to be held within STEAM Ahead Istanbul 2024 in Turkey in December of this year.

That is why I request your support to gather the resources that allow me to cover the cost of flights, accommodation and registration for the competitions and thus be able to participate in STEAM Ahead 2024 Istanbul, Turkey.

Because I am still a minor, I cannot take an international trip alone and I will have to travel accompanied by my sister Maya (18 years old), she is also an outstanding student, winner of countless science competitions and Debate tournaments. This is why the cost of the trip increases since we will be two passengers.

My story.

From a very young age I was diagnosed with High Intellectual Abilities, upon entering 1st grade I applied to CEPAC, the first public school specialized in High Abilities, after a long process we were selected only 150 students out of 1,500 applicants, from then on I have been very dedicated to my studies, always obtaining very high grades, additionally I have always participated in very interesting extracurricular activities, for example:

I was invited by the University of Guadalajara to participate in the University Lecture given by Dr. Takaaki Kajita, Nobel Prize in Physics for his studies on Neutrinos, there I presented him (without the need for a translator) a model with my version of the Hiperkamiokande Neutrino detector .

I collaborated with the Salvando Latidos A.C. foundation. in the development of an application for educational purposes on Cardiovascular health, and I participated with them as a speaker in the 3rd Statutory Scientific Session of the Mexican Society of Cardiology.

During the Talent Land event, I participated on the main stage helping Javier Santaolalla, a physicist and scientific communicator who was part of the team that discovered the Higs Boson at the CERN Hadron Collider, with some experiments.

I recently became certified in English with 5-star Distinction

In 2023 I represented my school in the Robotics competition, Robomatrix Latin America.

In addition to countless science and mathematics Olympiads.

Your donation will allow me to participate in a world competition in which I can accumulate points to enter the IJHS (International Junior Honor Society) where I will be able to access scholarships and international support, and it will also be a step that will bring me closer to my goal of entering the UWC ( United World Colleges) movement that promotes quality education in different schools around the world for outstanding students through support and scholarships.
