Quilt for Africa - helping those in need

Southern Irrigation is travelling to Malawi in January 2024. In partnership with Timotheos Foundation Malawi and Hungry For Life the team of 11 staff members will continue the work on the agricultural fields at the Chigumukire Child Care Center in Nsanje, Malawi.

Using their irrigation expertise, the team will work on finding African solutions in Southern Malawi where extreme drought in the dry season and intense rain in the rainy season adds extra challenges.

With Southern Irrigation's support, the Timotheos Foundation can improve agricultural output and when the fields start producing more crops, it will instantly create an income flow for the Child Care Center.
