Quin and Natasha Eastin Daughter Cadence

A tragedy can strike anyone at anytime. On September 9, 2023 at 5:00 AM, while camping at USDA/Boise National Forest Pine Campground near Mountain Home, Idaho, a large pine tree fell on the Eastin family while they slept in their tents. The tree instantly killed 8-year old Cadence, (who was an identical twin to her sister London), and the family dog. The family thanks God that no one else was injured during this horrific event.
Cadence was a truly special child. In addition to always having a cheerful, happy nature, she was known for having a perpetual and warm smile. Being raised in a Christian family, she was taught to be kind to others, made friends easily and avoided quarreling with others. She often helped her brothers and sisters with their daily chores. And when she would visit her grandpa, she was always up early and stayed up late helping to feed animals and with other work. She loved animals and they loved her. It is especially revealing that the family dog was curled up next to her when the tree fell taking both of their lives. Cadence was bright, intelligent and an eager to learn student. Curiously, she almost always hung out with the adults at family gatherings and seemed to have been gifted with a higher intellect than would normally be expected of an 8-year old child. But she also loved babies and often carried around her little siblings and small cousins.
As anyone can imagine, Cadences’ parents Quin and Natasha Eastin and her 7 brothers and sisters, are completely devastated by the loss of their daughter and sister. In spite of the knowledge that Cadence has been taken home to God, they will miss her every day for the rest of their lives. And as if dealing with the sudden loss of a child is not difficult enough, the unexpected exorbitant cost associated with a funeral is yet another difficulty. With a large family to feed, mortgage payments etc., the family budget is already stretched very tight. The Eastin family could really use some financial help at this difficult time.
This is a great opportunity to help someone in need. Donations of any size will be greatly appreciated. And we pray that God will openly reward you with peace and joy for any help that might be offered.
