Quin Village Tidy Towns 3 Year Plan

Donation protected
Quin Village Tidy Towns developed a three year plan with a view to improving the social, historical, cultural lived experiences of all living in and around the environs of Quin village, our diaspora and visitors. Our intention is to contribute to a positive sense of place and pride for all living and visiting our historical culturally unique village.

Planning took place between August and December 2022 and will be delivered over the next two years.
The plan is the outcome and combination of a number of sources:
1. Feedback from National TT judges.
2. Four public community-planning meetings (over 40 participants).
3. QVTT online research questionnaire (over 120 participants).
4. Three meetings with local and national public representatives.
5. One round table meeting with Minster for Public Works, elected officials, Clare County Council (CCC), OPW, CCC Tourism, Failte Ireland, Quin Heritage Group, Business and Resident representatives.

The final plan aligns with the National Tidy Towns competition administered by the Department of Rural and Community Development and sponsored by SuperValu.

This fundraiser is directed towards meeting our funding shortfall for the redevelopment of the Picnic/Fountain Area and for the installation of two murals and three sculptures in the village.
  • Please note: All donations are greatly appreciated and all donations will be published as well as how the funding is spent.
