Last Act of Love for Quintia Miller - #GoneTooSoon

On Monday, October 3rd, our family suffered a devastating loss due to a tragic and senseless act of violence.

Quintia Miller was at the bus stop with her son, and shortly after seeing him off to school while walking back to her apartment; she was mistaken for a woman involved in a sexual offense and indecent liberties with a child case that was scheduled for court later that morning.

Quintia was confronted, shot, and killed minutes after seeing her six-year-old son Kamari off to school.

Since her untimely death, Quintia has received an outpouring of love and kind sentiments from her neighbors, family, and friends. We are all trying to make sense of this the best way we can.

Our biggest concern is her son Kamari.

We are dedicated to helping him grieve, heal and grow right now and in the years to come.

We have created this Go Fund Me in hopes of securing financial help with funeral arrangements and help with caring for Kamari.

With our hearts in our hands, we are asking for help financially supporting our family as we navigate these difficult times.

Quintia was one of the kindest people you could ever meet and was there for you if you needed a hug, a shoulder to lean on or an ear to listen. She never turned her back on anyone who needed help.

We want to give her the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes.

We also want to ensure Kamari's future well-being is secure.
