Quintin's recovery

Quintin is seven years old, on February 26th he was in an automobile accident, his mom was taking him to pick out a puppy for his seventh birthday after picking out his black lab puppy and naming him Hunter they got into a horrific collision. Thankfully Quintin was wearing his seat belt in his booster seat. However due to the impact the seat belt tightened and caused internal bleeding, a broken pelvis and part of his intestine to loose blood flow. He was rushed from willmar (rice hospital) to the children's hospital in Hennepin County. Quintin had surgery were they were able to take the portion of intestine out and reconnect it, they were able to stop the bleeding internally as well. We are still waiting for Quintin to pass gas so we know the reconnection took. Once his bowels get moving then he will be able to take on liquids. As for his pelvis fracture we are awaiting to see if he will need surgery for that as well. Right now he is in the pedatric ICU, we are praying he stabilizes more so we can move out of the ICU, Quintin has a lot ahead of him but he is strong we will have to make alot of adaptations to our home to accommodate him once he can finally go home we are going to be traveling back and forth to the hospital which is a good two and a half hours away while we take a non paid leave for work, we don't know how much this will cost so anything helps, please send lots of prayers. We could all use some right now.
