Victoria's Breast Cancer Struggle

On January 27th, 2015, I found out that my beautiful cousin, Victoria, was diagnosed with breast cancer. This came as a total shock to our entire family and we are all trying to be supportive and learn more about her diagnosis and treatment plan. Her prognosis is good and our family has no doubt she will come through this fight stronger than ever. With that said, the road ahead over the next several months will definitely be a challenge.
On February 11th Victoria underwent a double mastectomy. She will begin radiation on April 6th, which will last 6 ½ weeks. Once the radiation has been completed she will then have to undergo a total hysterectomy.
The emotional stress and the financial burden of surviving breast cancer is a challenge (to say the least). It is so unfair that anyone has to go through this. Victoria is an amazing person. She is one of the most fun-loving, positive, family loving, animal loving, artistically talented person that I know. I am sure you all agree that Victoria deserves and needs our love and support now more than ever.
Her medical expenses will be extensive and lengthy, and she'll be unable to work at times due to recovery etc. She has already lost many weeks of work after the first surgery and just recently was able to return to her job as a medical assistant that she loves. The medical bills are and will continue to add up. This is why I am reaching out to you, my amazing and supportive family and friends to help please, in any way you can. Victoria needs to be able to focus on treatment and recovery and not have to worry about the huge financial burden this stupid cancer has placed upon her family. No amount is too small and any donation is greatly appreciated and will be a huge help to Victoria over the next several months.
