"4-year old Accidental Electrocution- Oakhurst"

As many of you know...my son Zander accidentally got electrocuted while he was "pretend" working on his Power Wheel. He was "pretend" using jumper cables, from what he thought. It was actually his Dad's homemade Lichtenberg Wood Burning Inverter. I didn't know this machine was out nor did I know the dangers of it. Dad taught the kids not to touch the machine and what it could do to them but Linkoln said, "Zander wasn't there when Dad told us about the machine"! So when Zander thought he was "pretend" hooking his Power Wheel up to jumper cables, the cables locked onto him and shocked him. It was well over 120V. He did go into cardiac arrest, I did CPR to get his heart beating again. Madera County Sheriff's Office, Sierra Ambulance, Cal-Fire & PG&E were amazing and I thank them for everything they did. Zander was air lifted to CRMC and is in the BICU burn center. Remarkable, thanks to God, his CT scan is completely normal with only some bruising on his lungs. He did suffer multiple deep burns from electricity exit wounds. More than anything, he is ALIVE!
So far...He has gone through 5 surgeries. He has had multiple skin grafts and has a long road of healing ahead. I have had a room at the Terry's House, so I can keep my belongings there and shower. But I do have to pay to stay there! Once he's released we don't qualify to stay there since he'll be outpatient. So we'll have to come back/forth from Oakhurst to Fresno multiple times a week to change his dressings, go to Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy. My Mom has my van for the other kids and I have my old truck, that usually sits at home. So I've had some extra costs to fix the truck to make it safer for going back/forth.  There have been so many extra expenses that have occurred and I don't have the means for them. So any and all donations from friends, family & the community have been and are greatly appreciated
