"Supper for Staff" at Chilton Medical Center
UPDATE: As of April 8, 2020 - Giant thanks and gratitude to the many folks who have contributed to this effort. We have gone from feeding 84 to over 121 workers, and expect that number to increase along with the rising tide of patients who need their care. We will continue this campaign for as long as we can sustain it with the funds raised from the generosity of the community that wishes to support our local heroes.
For those who prefer to send a check, you can send via U.S. mail to: Community Partners for Hope, Post Office Box 532, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444. In the memo line, please write "Chilton Dinners."
Community Partners for Hope of NJ, in coordination with Chilton Medical Center representatives, is raising funds to provide "Supper for Staff" who are working the evening/night shift. While restaurants are already donating food for the Emergency Dept., we want to provide dinner for the rest of the hospital staff.
It will cost between $500-$800 per night to provide for 70-90 staff members. It is the least we can do for them as they are on the frontline, caring for our neighbors, friends, family, and all those most critically affected with COVID-19. The meals will come from local restaurants to support our local economy.
Community Partners for Hope of NJ is a 501c3 non-profit. Our organization addresses hunger and social issues affecting our community area through outreach and public awareness. Among our partners are Pequannock Valley Rotary, UNICO, Lincoln Park Lion's Club, WHIM, Boys & Girls Club, Suburban Women's Club, and many churches and other organizations in the Pequannock/Lincoln Park community area.
Working together in partnership, we are more effective. Help us with a small or large donation to support meals!
If you would rather send a check - Make it out to "Community Partners of Hope" and note: "Chilton Dinners" mail it to: Community Partners for Hope, Attn: Doug Cook, Chairman; P. O. Box 532, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444.
Once this crisis is over, 100% of any remaining funds in this account will be donated to Chilton Medical Center Foundation.
