Help Leanne Keep Her Home & Build a Reiki Studio!

We are so grateful you took the time to read Leanne's story! We are writing this on behalf of our dear friend, neighbor, daughter, sister and cousin. Leanne is a beautiful person who cares about everyone and gives to everyone, and now she needs our help.

On Valentine's Day this past year, Leanne hit the bottom of her life with no place to turn…

It broke her heart when her husband left with their only son, Drake. She was deep in anguish and depression. She misses both of them desperately…

She had to be hospitalized because of the stress and depression she suffered. She'd lost everything that mattered to her, and she didn't want to live. She agonized over the trauma her son was experiencing being away from her. It's a miracle Leanne survived, but it was due to the fantastic help from our local community and Leanne's will to live.

Fortunately, Leanne has found out that she will be able to remain in the home until 2026 and then she must be able to take over the mortgage. She has also become a Reiki practitioner. We wish to help her make her dreams come true. She has had a tough year.

Leanne is recovering from a lot of loss …

This past summer, her mom almost died, and now she is losing her memory. Her sister is in the final stages of Alzheimer's. She held her brother's hand a few years ago as he took his last breath. He had MS. She lost her dad from a massive stroke in 2004. These losses did not prepare her for her husband's leaving with her only child. It has been a lot to handle, along with having chronic illnesses that make her daily life challenging. She hides it well, but we know she is suffering.

We want to save Leanne's home so that no one can ever attempt to take it from her again. We want to take one burden off her and give her peace of mind by allowing her also to have a Reiki studio on the property where she can supplement her disability income.

Leanne is a good-hearted, faithful, kind and God-loving person, and we want to help her. She's lost so much. We want to help her get back on her feet.

$50 000 will allow her to have a down payment on her home and permit her to build a small studio on the property to practice Reiki and support herself.

Because of her chronic illnesses, she cannot work full-time. However, she has met many people this past year who have been through trauma. This experience inspired her to learn Reiki and to give back to those in need. By working from home, she can add to her small income and do the work she feels called to do.

She doesn’t want to lose her home… she's had too many memories with her family in it. It's her refuge. Her dream is to bring home her son, heal her family, and practice Reiki. And we want this for her, too.
