Sara Wright

Hi, my name is Eadie and I’m fundraising for my coworker and friend, Sara Wright. Sara is 42 years old and single mother of 3 children. She has dedicated herself as an RN, full time, for 21 years, helping and aiding anyone in need.

This April, Sara was diagnosed with DCIS Breast Cancer (Ductal carcinoma In Situ). For those of you that dont know what that is, DCIS is the presence of abnormal cells inside the milk duct in the breast, which have not spread outside of the milk duct.

Though this is seen as a non invasive cancer as of now, she will still be getting a double mastectomy and the reconstruction surgery.

During this time my friend Sara will have many financial responsibilities that she will have to take care of, such as medical bills, and her unpaid absence at work. This year has been a great struggle for Sara. She has has went through a rough divorce this year, as well as having to move houses, and now on top of that she will have to endure this hefty procedure.
