Pauline's battle against leukemia

Hi, this is Warren Little, Pauline's Little's brother.. In a very short time my sister went from perfectly healthy to severly sick in under a month.. it started on Oct 19th, she had gone to the emerg in Chatham Kent Health Alliance hospital for what seemed to been arthritis pains, she went under many extensive tests, until her blood was tested, she had a very low red blood cel count, she was addmitted to hospital and then soon moved to ICU, doctors did more extensive testing and came to the conclusion of possible Cancer, acute monocytic leukemia to be exact. After more testing they had decided to do a bone biopsy on her hip, the test concluded that Pauline did in fact acute monocytic leukemia. She was immediatly rushed to windsor regional hospital cancer centre for immediate aggressive 30 day chemotherapy. During her stay, she had remained in a critical state, the treatment is doing its job, but Pauline's body is not, in a very short time on Oct 25, within only eight hours she has developed pneumonia which has completly taken over her lungs, forcing the doctors to put her in a medically induced coma.. The chemo kills bad cells but it also kills the good cells like the white cells that help fight infections, normally the body recovers itself and bounces back, unfortunalty for the past 3 weeks she has been at high risk due to low ANC Blood counts, Normal being from 1,500 to 2000, but she is extremely low which means that her immune system is compromised. If she doe's not improve within the next two days, I may lose her.. and my mind. She has worked so hard to fight this, and is the most selfless person I know, the kind of person that buys coffee for everyone at work with the only money she has left. She has to small children that need thier mom, I look at her and don't know how I could ever leave my own behind... I am scared for her...but most of all the kids. She has not been able to work, and with her small children, bills are getting hard and things are getting expensive for everyone, please look into your hearts and help my sister.
