John Yaeger Stroke Recovery Fund

John had a massive stroke on the morning of October 4th and since has been in and out of ICU twice and has had 5 surgeries. He's back in rehab and working hard to learn to live with his new limitations and overcome the ones he can. We celebrate each new triumph.

Many have asked what help is needed and if you know John you know he wouldn't want to be the center of all this attention, but he is finding that receiving help is a daily requirement in his recovery.  This road is going to be a long one and even with insurance, the bills are piling up. This fund will be used to help with those and modifications needed to make our home safe and as functional as possible for John (and for the occasional treat for the kids).

It has taken me 7 weeks to create this page and I will do my best to post updates as often as I can, but please know that I am overwhelmed and busy balancing John's care and the kid's needs, all while trying to contain the dogs from escaping our yard.
