Iris Harvest School Of Missions

I am excited to share with you an amazing opportunity and adventure that God has called me to in this season of life! As many of you may know, I have decided to postpone my schooling and take a year off. I made this decision through prayer and seeking wise counsel from those who have walked with Jesus much longer than I have. I had never expected to take a year off from school; but I knew if I wanted to walk in the fullness of what God has for me in this season, I needed to jump right in. I immediately knew it would be a year of trusting God, resting from ministry, and allowing him to guide me in any direction he wanted to take me. I had assumed it would look like me being in Raleigh, working, and growing deeper in my walk with Jesus and taking a season of rest. Yet again that was not fully God's plan. In trusting God, I have recently been accepted to Iris Harvest School Of Missions in Pemba, Mozambique.  


Iris Global is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the Great Commission around the world.  It was founded in 1980 by Rolland and Heidi Baker. The primary mission of Iris Global is to seek the face of God with all our hearts, that we might glorify Him and enjoy Him forever. I will specifically be attending their Harvest School Of Missions with 300-350 other students from all around the world. We will be taught daily by guest speakers, Iris missionaries, and other Mozambican family in the classroom every day from 8am to 1pm. With also many other opportunities to do outreach and live life alongside the Mozambican people. Over the past year God has spoken to me about being taught by Heidi Baker and going to Africa on many separate occasions that were very confirming! I’m very expectant for what God wants to do in my heart and my life. I believe this school is going to be an amazing opportunity to be taught and poured into by many amazing leaders. The school begins October 9th through December 5th, which is very soon, but I have no doubt in his faithfulness and provision. To attend Harvest School, I am believing for God to send those willing to partner with me financially and in prayer so I can continue to labor for the kingdom.
