Wheelchair accessible van

Hello my name is Akil I am fundraising because I need transportation, which would be a pre owned wheelchair accessible van.

In February 2022 , 3 months after my youngest child was born, I experienced a life altering accident which caused me to nearly lose my life. The doctors treated a fractured C-2 vertebrae which is located in my neck . While in the hospital I was told I wouldn’t be able to move from the neck down. After spending 2 months in the hospital on a ventilator I was finally well enough to move to an acute nursing home where I spent 5 months recovering. I begin to show progress and was finally taken off the ventilator and some time shortly after that I was able to go home and start my recovery there . However, due to complications within the health care system I am no longer provided transportation to therapy sessions, doctor appointments. I was using a city provided transportation but it is very difficult getting places on time getting to kids events and getting out of town for better physician visits . I’ve taken major steps to recovery I’m now able to move and feel certain body parts but in order to further my recovery I’m in dire need of transportation . Any thing helps . God bless
