Helping Wayne

Update from Wayne! 6-23-23 I’m absolutely blown away by the generosity shown me the past few weeks. The money will be used to turn an otherwise difficult and insecure situation into something more stable and manageable. I’m truly grateful for all of you who donated and sent their prayers and good thoughts for me on my road to recovery and to anyone else who helped me! Thank you! Wayne Mom’s update! Wayne has been in rehab the last few days having physical and occupational therapy. Today they are releasing him to go home and to continue with out patient therapy 2-3 times a week. Praise our Lord in heaven for being with Wayne and bringing him to this point. He will still be wearing his brace whenever mobile for the next 4 weeks ( or longer, if at checkup, if it warrants more time) so will be unable to work until that check up. Hello my name is Vicky and I am raising funds for my son Wayne who lives in Fargo ND and on Friday evening while walking home from his job, someone who was fleeing from the police, drove up the sidewalk and hit Wayne. Wayne was taken to Sanford hospital and underwent surgery to put his spine in alignment.Surgery went well but he will need therapy and will be unable to work and will have no income coming in. . Any funds received will be used for any expenses he will incur, such as buying a new pair of glasses that were lost in the accident and medical and monthly bills. Our family would appreciate any help you could give Wayne, since his world has been turned around since the accident on Friday! Update on Wayne 6-14-23 Wayne received his brace yesterday which he will wear for the next 6 weeks minimum. They have moved him from intensive care to intermediate care. They are doing therapy daily. He still has a long ways to go to be what he was, if he ever will. Thank you so much from Wayne and our family for donations and all the prayers!
