Our Story
My name is Engineer Muhammad Hassouna, a proud graduate of Computer Systems Engineering from Al-Azhar University in Gaza, class of 2023. I come from a family of eight, and life used to be beautiful. We had a home, meaningful work, and a happy life together as a family. My father, a retired health doctor, has a heart condition and requires constant care.
However, everything changed suddenly. We were forced to leave our home in northern Gaza and move to Khan Yunis under incredibly difficult circumstances, alongside many others facing the same hardship. After 41 days, we were displaced again to Rafah, where we lived in a fragile cloth tent that provided no protection from the cold or heat, enduring unbearable conditions. We spent five months in Rafah, only to be uprooted again, while the world watched the suffering in Gaza without action.
We then relocated to the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, where danger remains ever-present. Despite these immense challenges, we are determined to rebuild our lives and regain the stability we once had.
I have launched a donation campaign to raise $40,000 to restore our home and help my family rebuild our lives. Your support will not only help us find safety and stability but also bring joy and hope back into our lives.
Your kindness and generosity can make a world of difference. Thank you for standing with us during this difficult time.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping us reach safety. Thank you for your support during this difficult time.
