Fight against breast cancer

I can’t find words to describe the fear and heartache that fills every beat of my heart and I mean literally every beat. My sweet, beautiful daughter has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer at 23 years old. Katie lives her best life, enjoys her career, and has big plans for her future. Katie and Taylor were to be married this October. With her diagnosis and treatment plan, they decided to postpone the big event and opted for a small ceremony. Katie has the most beautiful soul with a smile as bright as the sun. She use to tell me goodnight and end it with ‘I love you big as the world.’ I wish I could fight this battle for her but I can simply be present. Many of our friends and family have asked how they can help. I ask for continued prayers as we face this battle. We will be traveling to Nashville for weekly chemo treatments.
