Support Bruce Dombeck on His Road to Recovery

Donation protected
Dear friends, family, loved ones and community members -

As you may know, a dear friend and an associate of Heavy Seas Beer for 28 years, Bruce Dombeck is facing one of the toughest battles of his life.

On September 17th, Bruce was taken to the emergency room after experiencing alarming symptoms, which led to the discovery of a malignant brain tumor on his right frontal lobe. Just two days later, he underwent emergency brain surgery to resect as much of the tumor as possible without disturbing brain tissue. During the craniotomy, Bruce unfortunately suffered a stroke and as a result, the left side of his body has significantly decreased motor functions. The pathology report confirmed a diagnosis of a glioblastoma. Bruce is currently receiving intensive medical care, physical therapy, and rehabilitation at Good Samaritan Hospital where he has made incredible strides to regain the motor function and strong cognition he had before the surgery. It is expected that Bruce will begin cancer treatment at Johns Hopkins in the coming weeks while continuing rehabilitation at home.

We are asking for your support to help Bruce and his partner, Teresa Marconi, and their two children, Clay and Beau Dombeck, through this unprecedented challenging time. Despite the Dombeck family's incredible spirit and determination, the financial burden of medical bills and ongoing recovery will be significant.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will directly help lighten the financial burden of the Dombeck family and allow Bruce to focus fully on what matters most—his health and recovery. Your donation will have a positive impact during this unexpected hardship. If you're personally unable to contribute, sharing this page with your network is equally appreciated.

Let’s come together to show Bruce the same warmth, optimism, and support that he has always shared with others. Thank you for your kindness, love, generosity, and for standing by Bruce during his road to recovery. Every bit of help makes a difference. Donate Now.
