This page has been setup for the Purdy family (who are a part of the Blue Family of law enforcement), who sadly lost their 6 year old daughter, Reagan, in a tragic car accident.
On Saturday, November 17th, Jared and his daughter Reagan were driving home on I-70 near Limon, CO after their father-daughter day, when an elderly driver was traveling the wrong way and struck them broad side killing Reagan instantly. Reagan was 6 years old. They also had their family dog, Elbe, with them, who also did not survive the accident. The driver has since been charged with vehicular homicide.
Jared sustained severe injuries, but he is now recovering at home. He has been a member of the Denver Police Department for 12 years and is currently a detective.
Reagan was a very smart girl. She was in the 1st grade and already reading chapter books. Her favorite hobbies were reading, writing, board games, horse back riding, family time, playing with her younger sister, and being outdoors. She was a beautiful girl and if GoFundME would allow it, we could fill this entire site with just how wonderful she was. She was loved beyond measure and is missed dearly.
