CF is a genetic condition that causes damage to the lungs and treatment is a relentless range of daily physiotherapy, exercise, medications and a high calorific diet. It can also lead to many other problems such as diabetes and osteoporosis.
'The International Association of Cystic Fibrosis Raquel Griffith R19' [Reg. Charity 616075] has been formed in honour of Raquel to disseminate funds and knowledge to empower people with cystic fibrosis by campaigning for improvements in hospitals and supporting people with CF in education and in setting up & developing a business so that they can work in flexible and compatible way with their condition.
