Ciaran O'Hara Everest Base Camp or Bust

Please support me in raising funds for the amazing charity Foyle Search and Rescue by sponsoring my trek to Everest Base Camp. The 10-day hike will start at Lukla airport (considered one of the most dangerous airports in the world) and see me cover around 40 miles of rugged steep terrain ascending to a final height of 5642 meters.

All expenses and travel costs have already been paid by myself and 100% of all donations will go directly to Foyle Search and Rescue to aid them in their work saving lives.

More information about Foyle Search and Rescue: Foyle Search was set up in 1993 preventing suicide and supporting families in the City. Our volunteers patrol the river on Thur, Fri & Sat nights, from 9.30pm to 3.00am, engaging with people in distress, maintaining lifebelts and saving lives. We have an Emergency Response Pager Team, who are on call 24/7 365 days a year, for emergencies outside of patrol times. This team also acts as a body recovery team who search for any person missing in the river and recover the body with the greatest dignity.
