My Mom's funeral and expenses

Hello dear friends and family,

As you may know, my mom died of metastatic breast cancer last week. It has been quite an expense as I am not able to work while I am here. However, Ryan is continuing to work remotely to keep a flow of money and not drain all of the savings we have. We drove our car out from California and have been paying for things for the family. There have been a lot of difficulties surfacing including no life insurance policies and mom and dad not having a lot of savings.

UPDATE: Dad said he would pay for funeral expenses when I asked him how much could be contributed!

I am reaching out to our family of friends to help during this time to curb some of our stress and anxiety. I have also reached out to my aunts and uncles to supply money instead of plants and flowers for the funeral service.

I doubt we will be able to make the goal, but any little bit would help.

Cremation, Urn and Service: UPDATE

Cat Sitter for two weeks: $200+

Emergency Cat Vet bill while we were away: $284
