White Family

We are fundraising for EKU hockey alumni Curt White and his three young boys Griffin 10, Tucker 7, and Fisher 1.

Curt’s wife Lauren Ashley Wiggington White was taken to heaven tragically on November 14, 2021

Lauren was a fierce and loyal friend to many as she graduated from George Rogers Clark High School in 2002. As a college student at Eastern Kentucky University, she was blessed to meet Curt, the love of her life. After graduating with a Bachelors of science degree in Nursing, they were married shortly thereafter in Lexington on May 27, 2006, and began their beautiful adventures together. Laurens deep seated desire to care for others was evidenced by her career choice as an ICU nurse, Travel Nurse, and her final calling working as a hospice nurse in Clark County, Ky. She appreciated and cherished the opportunity to witness and serve patients and families in their last moments on earth.
