Help for Harrison

This is my nephew Harrison, he is 4 years old and in August 2015, following a brief period of illness he was diagnosed at The Great North Childrens Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne with a Brain Tumour on his brain stem.
The staff at The Great North Childrens Hospital, were fantastic with Harrison and have helped support both Harrison, his mother Diane and our family during this difficult time.
Following Harrison’s diagnosis he had an operation to remove the tumour, this was successful but in order to ensure that the cancer wouldn’t return it was recommended that he receive Proton Beam Therapy treatment in the USA.
A case was put forward to NHS England and they agreed that this was the best step forward for Harrison.
As I write this Harrison is currently in Oklahoma, USA with his Mum and is just about to start Proton Beam Therapy at The Procure Proton Therapy Centre.
The treatment time is approximately 9-10 weeks and although NHS England pay for the majority of the costs; Diane still has to fund her and Harrison’s everyday living expenses for food etc.
We are looking to raise enough money to help Diane and Harrison during this time and to hopefully ease the strain; especially as Diane has not been able to work since Harrison was diagnosed.
Any money raised which does not get used will be donated to The Great North Childrens Hospital, Newcastle Upon Tyne, where Harrison received such excellent care.
On Saturday 31st October I am doing a zip slide from the Tyne Bridge, my friend Jon is also doing it to help raise money for the fund.
We are hoping to raise enough money so we can donate a sizable amount to the Great North Childrens Hospital who have been absolutely fantastic.
