Christmas Day 2023 in memory of Tanya Seabrooks!
Tax deductible
Overview: Tanya Seabrooks, a former Radcliff councilwoman, believed that no one should go hungry on Christmas day. She started an annual Christmas dinner tradition at the Colvins Community Center in Radcliff, providing a warm meal to those in need. After her unexpected passing in December 2000, Chef Maria Bell and Tanya's mother, Jannete Stevens, took up the mantle to continue this heartwarming tradition in her memory.
Our Mission: We are dedicated to ensuring that no one in our community faces food insecurity on Christmas day. For the past three years, Chef Maria has successfully organized the Christmas dinner, serving approximately 600 people annually. This year, we need your support more than ever to continue this legacy and ensure everyone has a warm meal on Christmas.
How You Can Help: Your generous contributions will directly fund the Christmas dinner, covering the cost of ingredients, preparation, and logistics to ensure a successful event. Every dollar counts, and your donation can make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most during the holiday season.
Join Us: Let's come together as a community to honor the memory of Tanya Seabrooks and ensure that her vision of a Christmas without hunger lives on. Your support will bring warmth and joy to those facing food insecurity this Christmas.
