Conjoined Twins

Last spring our brother Anatoliy Bachinkskiy and his wife Lilily Miroshnik received word that their sweet family would be expanding to 5: Lily was pregnant with twins.  However, on the 10th week of pregnancy, they received the heavy news that their babies had an extremely rare medical condition as their little girls were diagnosed as being conjoined, at their heads.  Needless to say, the news was devastating and the prognosis was not promising given the nature of their condition.  Despite all, Lily and Tony decided early on to trust God and move forward with this pregnancy.  As you can imagine, a flood of nightmarish  information came at them.  They were given the news that the girls may not survive but that if they do, this diagnosis carries with it the potential for heart and respiratory complications, cerebral palsy and scoliosis as well as the potential that the girls might not ever be able to be separated.  It was originally thought the girls might be sharing a cerebellum (the balance and coordination center of your brain) but to date, none of these scenarios have come to pass.

Despite the odds, God’s hand prevails as the girls are HEALTHY and the babies will be brought into this world at Lily’s scheduled c-section on December 30th!  The doctors continue to be amazed by the miraculous fact that they are both healthy in the face of 1-in-10 million diagnosis, so much so that they want to do a case study on Lily and the girls.

Maybe one day these little angels will testify as to what God did in their lives!  From the very beginning, Lily has shown the strength and composure that few possess, a characteristic that those who know her will attest to as uniquely Lily.  However, her strength is not without limits.  She has 3 boys under the age of 8 and is now having increasingly more difficult moving around, needing ever more help from her husband, family and friends.

It is because of God’s grace and power and the support and prayers from family and friends that Lily and Tony have found the strength in this process, a scenario that is not without an immense amount of stress, emotionally, relationally and financially.

Ahead there are still multiple follow up appointments, needs for food and clothing as well as the operation to separate the twins, which may be able to happen a year after their birth.  All said, they have and will continue to have many bills to pay.  If you have it in your heart to bless this family financially and also by prayers, my family and I will all be eternally grateful.

В семье моего старшего брата Анатолия и Лили Бачинских случилось так что Лиля забеременела двойней и на десятой неделе беременности деткам поставили диагноз "сямские близнецы ". Прогнозы были неутешительными... они приняли решение довериться Господу и не делать аборт. Врачи говорили что детки могут не выжить, а если и выживут то будут с серьёзными отклонениями и понадобится много обследований и операций, и гарантий на их разделение тоже нет. Благодаря Господу и молитвам,и поддержке родных и близких они прошли этот нелёгкий путь и уже 30 декабря будут делать кесарево и малышки появятся на свет. На сегодняшний день после долгих и многих обследований врачи не смогли подтвердить ни одно последствие этого диагноза таких как порок сердца, один можечёк на двоих, сбой хромосом, синдром дауна и т.д. Говорят что это чудо! И этот случай один на 10 миллионов!!!Очень много было явлено милости Божьей всего тут не напишешь, думаю прийдёт день и они засвидетельствуют что сделал Господь!!! Изначально Лиле был прописан пастельный режим,но она с Божьей помощью могла делать необходимое по дому для своей семьи. Сейчас ей уже тяжело передвигаться и что-либо делать и нужна помощь мужа. Впереди ещё много визитов к докторам и дополнительных обследований поэтому Толику нужно быть больше с семьёй. Если есть в вашем сердце благословить и поддержать эту семью как финансово так и в молитве мы будем очень благодарны!!! Да благословит вас Господь!
