Support Laurie in Her Battle Against Cancer

10/27/24:

Hi, my name is Monica and I am Laurie‘s cousin. Our sweet Laurie (and favorite pit mistress) needs our help. She was recently diagnosed with stage 2 colorectal cancer after a massive tumor was discovered. As a result, she will be undergoing radiation and chemo treatments and therefore unable to work.

Anyone who knows Laurie, knows that she is full of love and always the first one in line to help someone in need, whether it’s a hot plate of food, words of encouragement or with her time.

Now….she needs us.

This shocking news will prevent her from working and operating the food truck for an unknown amount time. As a self-employed business owner, there is no contingency plan for a flow of income when the unexpected happens and unfortunately, the bills still continue to roll in.

If anyone is wanting to help and able to, this will help alleviate financial worries so that Laurie can concentrate on her health and getting back to doing what she loves most…. providing amazing barbecue to all who love her and being the amazing mother she is to Chaz and Chandler.

Please continue to lift Laurie in prayer and may God grant the doctors the wisdom to heal our girl. ❤️‍
