Healing from Violence: Domestic and Criminal
Donation protected
Adventures in Purpose is working to launch our first personal empowerment course called C.I.A.R.A which stands for Change Integrity Adjust Realistically Achieve.
The C.I.A.R.A. program was named after Ciara Harrison, a young mother who was brutally murdered in 2019 due to domestic violence. Please read our story that was recently published in the Los Angeles Times, written by Anita Chabria. You can find it here: https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2023-07-13/he-murdered-her-daughter-and-she-wants-to-forgive-him-what-does-that-mean-san-quentin
Or by searching Los Angeles Times Ciara Harrison.
Ciara's mom, Jill started this mission to turn a horrible tragedy into a life-changing experience for many. I want her life to be a seed that’s planted and bears much fruit.”
Our non-profit (still in the process) has very reachable goals to radically change lives. Some of the areas we plan to operate are with classes and curriculums in Schools, Juvenile programs, Domestic Violence programs, as well as in the Prison systems.
Topics cover:
Violence: Domestic or Criminal
Social Competence
Anti-Bullying Campaigns
Values and attitudes
Learning Disabilities
Criminogenic factors and more
Our educational books will help the Incarcerated population via correspondence starting with San Quentin State Prison & Rehabilitation, we are open to anyone, any programs.
This series has life-changing information and seeks to bring healing, education and powerful and positive change. I’m looking at the bigger picture here, how many families can we prevent from going through what we had to go through? That’s my mission. That’s my why.
We appreciate any gift large or small to help us change lives.
Thanks for your time and support.
