On December 22 (only 1 day before his 16th birthday) Caleb was brought to the hospital with a fever of 105. The doctors soon realized his heart and lungs were working too hard and suspected post-covid complications with MIS-C (multi-inflammatory syndrome in children). He was placed on a breathing tube and was transferred to Children’s Hospital via helicopter and has been a fighter for the last few days.
