Devastated by the loss of her son

Donation protected
She felt him move for the very first time before he was born.
She held him when he took his first breath.
She encouraged him to crawl, then to walk.
She helped him form garbled words that would soon become questions.
She taught him to be independent and strong (just like her)

My friend Shannon Weidlich Koontz suddenly lost her son. She is completely devastated (who wouldn't be?) She had given her heart and soul to him. He was an honors student at Grafton High School, loved by everyone. His life ended suddenlyand her world is completely upside down.

She is not looking for charity or pity. She is unaware that I am doing this, but I wanted to do something to try to ease the burden of having to bury a child.

A mother should never have to bury her child, a mother should never outlive her child. And when that child's life is taken so suddenly, it just makes it that much harder.

I started this campaign, not only because of a child that has been lost, but to help cover some of the costs associated with a burial when it some something so unexpected and so tragic.

Shannon is a loving dedicated wife and mother. I have known her since elementary school. She lives for her husband and children. She is not the type of person to ask for help, yet she is the first one else to help you out if you're every in need.
