In memory of Ron Gullekson

Dear Friends and Family of Ron,
This page is dedicated to the memory of Ron Gullekson. Ron will leave a lasting impression on all of us. His infectious laugh could brighten up almost any situation.
Ron was 36 and had so much of his life ahead of him.
Witty, generous, patient, kind, strong...he was so many things.
Dedicated husband and loving father.
Ron made friends with everyone he met.
He was volunteering weekly at the Adult Literacy League, putting in amazing effort into getting his Masters Degree, skyping with people in South America who wanted practice speaking English.
When we first thought of a fund for Ron, we had high hopes for his recovery. A few weeks in the hospital, followed by some months of rehab. We wanted to support Ron and show him how much everyone cared and was pulling for him. But everyday at Florida Hospital, even with the most skilled doctors and nurses watching him 24 hours a day, Ron's condition declined. The time frame for the hospital stay grew longer, recovery longer, and we were unsure of a fundraising goal for Ron.
Unfortunately, as many of you know, the outcome is nothing anyone expected.
Our new fundraising goal is to help Ron's family fund the cost of his medical stay at the hospital and for funeral expenses.
Everyone's support and kind words makes us feel that we are not alone in this and that Ron's amazing gift of entertaining and making people laugh is what has brought us all together. Any generosity you offer is appreciated so much by the family to help them during this difficult time.
