Giancarlo's Road to Recovery fund

Hello family and friends. This is Giancarlo Gil. He is 14 years old.  We have known Giancarlo and his family  since he and my oldest son, Tony, met in kindergarden camp. Giancarlo is an honor student who is on the freshman football team at Chula Vista High School and has been playing baseball since he was 5 years old. Giancarlo is now suffering from a flesh eating bacteria. Because of this bacteria, doctors had to amputate his right leg right below the knee. He has had 4 surgeries in the last 5 days with more to come. Doctors have also shaved off some of his right quad to make sure that the bacteria does not reach any main arteries. The road to recovery will not be an easy one physically, emotionally, and financially. His parents have taken time off of their jobs to be close to their son, but as we all know, the bills of everyday living do not stop. There will also be upcoming medical expenses that will need to be covered, including prosthetics. Please, I ask all of my family, friends, friends of family, etc., to please help us help Giancarlo and his family in this hour of need.
