Help support Stephanie and Clay's Fight Against Brain Cancer

Donation protected

Sometimes life changes in an instant. What we thought was just a bad case of the flu turned into something much more terrifying when Clay was rushed to the ER with an excruciating headache. What we expected to be dehydration or a simple illness quickly became our worst fear—a large mass on his brain. Not just a mass, but one that doctors strongly suspect to be cancerous.

Within hours, everything shifted. Clay was transferred to Moffitt Cancer Center for further evaluation, where more tests only confirmed our fears. Surgery is scheduled for Monday morning—an awake craniotomy, a delicate procedure where they will remove as much of the tumor as possible while carefully protecting his ability to move, speak, and think.

The road ahead is uncertain. Doctors suspect glioblastoma (GBM), grade 4—a diagnosis no one is ever prepared to hear. Once he recovers from surgery, pathology results will determine the full course of treatment, but radiation and chemotherapy is expected to begin soon after.

If you know Clay, you know his heart. He’s the guy who always greets you with a warm smile, a big hug, and a joke to make you laugh. He is a devoted husband, a loving father to two incredible kids (ages 11 and 17), and a man who has built a beautiful life on their family farm. This news has shaken their world, and while they are holding on to hope, they are also facing immense challenges ahead.

No one should have to walk this path alone. As they navigate this overwhelming journey, we want to do everything we can to lift some of the burden. If you feel led, please consider donating to help ease the financial strain of medical expenses, travel costs, and time away from work. Every prayer, every kind word, and every donation means the world to this family.

We will keep everyone updated as we walk this road together. Thank you for your love and support.
