Katie’s Celebration of Life

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

We are reaching out to you today with a plea for assistance. Our beloved and remarkable friend, Katie Bennett was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020. She underwent chemotherapy, medications and surgery which kept her cancer at bay but unfortunately, it has returned recently and is aggressive.

Cancer has spread down her spine, about every other vertebrae, pelvic bone and a new spot has formed on her liver. Katie continues to commute to see her doctors at UCLA for more testings in order to formulate an optimal treatment plan.

Aside from this mental, emotional and physical battle, Katie also works part-time and is the mother of three beautiful children.

We implore her community to rally together to help alleviate some of the financial burdens that typically arise when battling cancer. Your compassion and generosity will make a tangible difference in Katie’s journey. From covering medical bills, costly medication, hospital stays, medical treatments and holistic therapies to alleviate her pain.
