Boos medical bills

For those of you who don't know me or my dog, my name is Missy Dallas and this is my boy Boo. I am a dog trainer and Boo is my right hand man.
I adopted Boo 3 years ago at the age of 4. He was rehomed to me with every behavioral issue a dog could have. Stranger Danger...Leash Reactivity....Handling Sensitivities.....and no basic obedience. He earned the nickname "Kujo" on my property. On top of his behavior issues, Boo has Cerebral Palsy.
After an amazing transformation, Boo became my number one working dog. Boo has helped so many people & animals in the few years I have had him. He helps me train my clients, their kids, and all the dogs who come in our path. I can't imagine doing my job without him. He is an inspiration to everyone who meets him.
On the morning of 3/25/23, I rushed Boo to the ER. Unknowingly to me, Boo had a bladder full of minerals and stones, and one of these stones had gotten lodged in his urethra preventing him from urinating. The ER immediately put him under anesthesia, pushed the stone back into the bladder, and drained 2 quartz of bloody urine from his bladder. Boo was in the ER until the following evening. This was a $3900 vet bill.
Boo was doing good until just 3 days later when he started showing symptoms of another blockage. When we went to the vet, they confirmed he had another stone lodged in his urethra. Again, they put him under anesthesia, pushed the stone back into the bladder, and drained the urine from his bladder. This was a $900 vet bill.
Boo needs to have a Cystotomy to remove the minerals and stones from his bladder. This surgery ranges in cost from $2000-7500. My vet is willing to do it for $2000 but he isn't available until 4/13/23. The vets with immediate availability are quoting me $5000-7500. The probability of Boo making it 2 wks without another blockage is low. If we can't keep the stones out of his urethra, I will have to euthanize him.
The blocked urethra and multiple procedures he's already had are very painful and exhausting to Boo. He has been incontinent since his trip to the ER. He gets more lethargic after each procedure, and his hind end is noticeably weak from the strained muscles in his abdomen. He needs the Cystotomy now. He can't continue enduring these painful blockages and procedures and unfortunately, I can't afford what I have already paid for. However, I am desperately trying to get him the surgery because the vets are confident his quality of life will return once his bladder is cleaned out.
I am hoping to raise enough money to cover the $4800 in medical bills Boo has already accrued plus $5000 for the immediate Cystotomy.
We appreciate any financial assistance we can get. I love my boy and can't imagine losing him so early in his life.
Sincerely,
Missy and Boo
