Glades Jazz Band Midwest Trip

Gator Musician Support Fund, Inc is a non profit organization that exists to help fund and support the Glades Middle School Band in Miami, FL. The Glades Concert Jazz Band recently won the Mark of Excellence National Jazz Honors Award from the Foundaition for Music Education.  The Glades Middle School Band has been invited to perform at the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic in Chicago, Illionois on Dec 16-19, 2015. The prestigious event is  the premier event in the band world. The trip will cost $45,000.00. The students would have to fly and the event occurs during the peak of travel season. The Jazz Band will represent the State of Florida at the Midwest Conference/Clinic. Ensembles apply for this event from all over the world and it is truly an honor for the Glades Middle School Concert Jazz Band to be selected. Please help my students get to this life changing event.
