I am creating this at the request of many friends and family members.
Sunday December 26th at 8am, Jose lost his fight with a sudden lung illness brought on by Covid.
He had family by his side and came to a peaceful end of his beautiful life.
I have no words, this is such a terrible tragedy to everyone who knew him.
He was such an amazing and selfless man, and wanted to help and care for every single person that came into contact with him.
At this time I really am having trouble finding the words to express all the amazing things he has done in his short life, he had so many dreams and goals he was still working towards, and I promised him I would fulfill those dreams, as we had talked about many times.
He leaves behind many, many family members, so many siblings, neices and nephews out of country that he was always helping to support and very proud of.
His Grandchildren and his two children who he loved unconditionally, and I know everyone says the words " unconditional love ", but with Jose, this was even single aspect of the words.
He was not only Acting Shop Chief and a Surface Maintenance Mechanic, Automotive Maintenance Warrant Officer in the National Guards out of Marshall Mo, he was part owner of Carrollton Greenhouse and Nusery in the town of Carrollton Mo as well. He wore many hats, also helping orgainze events here and in Mexico annually.
He would stop on the side of the road every single time we saw someone pulled over, ( even when I scolded him about it) he would fix their cars right there if he could, he would take them to town and buy parts or tires for them, he would change a flat, sometimes he would even take these people home to feed them and almost every time he would end up just giving them cash.
There is so much to say about this wonderful person who never deserved this.
As most of you know he also lost his wife in October, my mother, to a long battle with liver failure, he was there through it all, taking care of her as a full time nurse, carrying her, changing and showering her, and at the end, he was there though it, comforting her. After this we would talk to each other 3 times a day if not more, we would see each other every few days, usually ended up crying but we had each other for comfort and I will never forget that.
If you have a "Jose story" or just some kind words, we would be so appreciative to hear them.
He loved all his friends and Co workers like family, I know that to be true, and from me personally, thank you for being a good friend to my Dad. ❤
