Brittany's Battle
Many from the community of Westfield will remember the vibrant, recent Bloomsburg graduate, Brittany DeNicola.
Following her May college graduation, Brittany began to experience symptoms. Unbeknownst to her, life had another change of course for Brittany.
On September 19th, a dermatologist persistently reached out with great concern. After following up with specialists, Brittany received the surprising diagnosis of Hodgkins Lymphoma – upon receiving this news, Brittany promptly started to undergo the necessary procedures to begin her battle.
Within the short period of time since diagnosis, Brittany has been through numerous procedures and chemo therapy treatments. As you can imagine this has been a shock to the bubbly, 23 year old.
Unfortunately, insurance is already disputing claims and rejecting coverage for certain necessary treatments. Also, there are many side-effects, medications and expenses to consider to provide Brittany with all she needs for this battle.
Due to her (recent) college graduate status, Brittany’s parents face the struggle of carrying this financial burden. As mentioned above, there will be additional costs that will not be covered or reimbursed.
Please consider assisting in alleviating some of the financial and emotional strains this cancer diagnosis has brought.
Any monetary donation would be greatly appreciated along with prayers and positivity.
We thank you in advance!
