Luna’s hospital bills

Hi, my name is Francesca. I set up this go fund me because our dog Luna was hit by a car Thursday, October 7th. Elijah and I are looking for some financial help paying for her extensive medical treatment.

 

Luna is the sweetest dog, she loves to run, cuddle, play tug-of-war, and fetch. I have had Luna since she was six weeks old and I can't imagine life without her happy face greeting me at the door whenever I get home. She turns 3 years old this month. If you have ever met Luna you know she is just the happiest dog there is, she always wants attention and loves to be with friends.

Luna’s outlook is constantly improving, but she needed some critical care to save her life in the hours after the accident. She received emergency surgery, a blood transfusion, and is now being monitored in Pieper Memorial Veterinary Hospital for the next several days as her large wounds slowly heal. The doctors said she is very lucky to not have more severe trauma and they are optimistic about her recovery.

 

Her estimated bills are ranging from $6,000 - $10,000 and since we don't have pet insurance, this will be out of pocket. We understand if you have financial constraints of your own, but we would be deeply grateful for any small contribution, even if it comes in the form of thoughts and prayers.
