On Saturday, December 14, 2024, Gabriel underwent an unscheduled emergency surgery—in the aftermath, Gabriel has battled with severe sepsis, a life-threatening condition that occurs when the body's immune system overreacts to an infection and can lead to widespread inflammation and damage to multiple organs. Gabriel will require ongoing intensive treatment, constant nursing care, and a prolonged recovery time.
