On March 6, Yesenia got, what was supposed to be life saving bariatric surgery, due to some underlying medical conditions.
She thought she had plenty of PTO for the couple months of recovery they told her it would be before she could return to work.
Only 1% of patients have complications from the surgery….they told her.
She is the 1 %.
She can barely get out of bed & has been to the ER numerous times and out of work nearly every day since the surgery and has long since run out of her PTO.
Meanwhile, her husband Carlos took another lower paying position that would allow him to be closer to home because she has needed so much assistance.
Bills are piling up & they are drowning.
We hope & pray for some assistance so this family can get through this very difficult season.
